German Shorthaired Pointers have been a part of my life and my family's life for over 45 years. My children and now my grandchildren have literally grown up with them. I live on a farm where I not only raise German Shorthairs but registered Black Angus cattle. I have several acres of rolling pastures bordered by woods. This allows me to run my dogs daily for exercise as well as work on their hunting skills. I have always trained my own bird dogs and it gives me great satisfaction working with and watching a puppy develop into a mature hunting dog. Although I have never shown my dogs, some of our puppies have had the confirmation and temperament for the show ring. I enjoy bird hunting and that is what brought me to this breed many years ago.  I bought my first Shorthair in 1966 and have never looked back.

To sum it all up. I believe in this breed. I know how they behave in the field and in the home. They are versatile hunters as well as loyal, intelligent companions. They love being with their families and are willing to try most any task you lay before them. Thank you for looking at our website and if I can be of any help or if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
